The iStep by Apex is an easy-to-use pressure analysis and orthotic diagnostic tool. This technology is unique because, for the first time, computerized pressure analysis technology has been made easily affordable for all podiatry practices.

Using the iStep system, a foot image can be generated from either a postural (standing) test. so you can recommend the most appropriate orthotic system based on the patient's specific foot type. After readings are viewed on the screen, there is an option to print or burn the results onto a CD.

Postural (Static)
During the postural examination the iStep software culculates pressure distribution and average for eahc foot, and isolates the area of maximum pressure. The test runs for 30 secondsand color-coded pressure points are displayed for the plantar aspect of the foot. The images can be viewed in either two or three dimensions.

At the completion of your test a Lynco Orthodic (pictured) will be recommended to custom fit your foot.
